Oppo has launched its new bezel-less smartphone named as Oppo A83 smartphone in China.
The Oppo A83 uses a new facial recognition technology that, Oppo claims, can unlock the phone within 0.18 seconds using 128 unique feature points on the user's face.
The Oppo A83 has a 5.7 inches, Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9, pixel density of 282 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 13 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies
The smartphone is powered by the 2.5GHz octa-core processor. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which supports upto 128GB of storage. The phone's operating system in Android 7.1 Nougat.
Oppo A83 comes with 3180 mAh battery, 3.5 mm audio jack and just 7.7 mm of overall thickness. It measures 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 143 grams including battery.
The Oppo A83 is priced at 1399 Yuan (approximately Rs 13,500) and is currently available for pre-order in China. It will go on sale in China on December 29. The A83 will be offered in Champagne and Black colours.
